Ashes Subscription Update
Updates to the Team Covenant Ashes Subscription with Ashes Ascendancy
Ashes die-hards have been turning to Team Covenant’s Ashes subscription as the fastest, most convenient way to get their hands on the latest Ashes releases. This will change somewhat when the Ashes Ascendancy Kickstarter campaign launches in early April.
The new Ashes Ascendancy Starter Set will not be available through the Team Covenant subscription. The Ashes Ascendancy Starter Set will be made available first through the crowdfunding campaign, then later through traditional distribution channels, allowing it to reach as many new players as possible. Following its release, the subscription service will continue with the Ashes expansions that follow. In addition, Ashes Ascendancy products will no longer have a three-month exclusivity window with Team Covenant.
Ashes is alive and thriving thanks to Team Covenant’s support and everyone subscribed to their Ashes subscription. It is because of all of you that Ashes gets to enter an exciting new phase! As a thank you to all Ashes subscribers, and to Team Covenant for their ongoing support, Plaid Hat Games is providing Team Covenant with an alt-art Phoenixborn card to include with the final expansion of the Red Rains cycle. This expansion will not be available via the Ashes Ascendancy Kickstarter, so subscribing is the fastest and easiest way to obtain this final Ashes Reborn expansion!
While Ashes Ascendancy will be available through more channels, the subscription offered by Team Covenant will continue to be a great way to get Ashes Ascendancy products as they are released, and Plaid Hat Games will continue to work with Team Covenant to support their subscription service. Furthermore, keep your eyes on the mad men at Team Covenant, as we’ll be sending them some fancy new Ashes Ascendancy products to reveal, once the new starter set is ready!
