Ashes Ascendancy Coming Soon
"They told us the Red Rains were a curse for our worship of the new gods, those usurpers who stole their thrones from the wise dragons of old. They told us the Chimera who slaughtered us wholesale were retribution for humanity’s sins against the children of dragons. In those dark days it was all too easy to believe the words of the stern prophets, the howling mad, and the dour Vermillion Council. But when the Phoenix arose, bathing all the world in its splendor, how quickly we forgot to examine ourselves! How quickly we grew bored with identifying the root of all our anguish!"
- Alibrimbor, Phoenixborn of Duskar
The Red Rains have cleared and the Phoenixborn have once again defeated the Chimera that threatened all of Argaia. The Phoenixborn have never been more resplendent, their power more unchallenged… until now. With the peril of the Chimera waning, the Phoenix once again spreads its wings, demanding the Collection of Ashes to resume. Once more the Phoenixborn are plagued with a lust for the destruction of their kin. But the source of their power, the secret that let humanity defeat the first Chimera, came with a heavy cost. Now storm clouds have given way to gleaming blue skies, and in this celestial splendor comes an ancient force, hungering for vengeance.
Ashes Ascendancy marks the next era of Ashes; a new entry point for the series, and a continuation of Ashes Reborn. Fully compatible with all of Ashes Reborn, Ashes Ascendancy marks the introduction of two new magic types for Phoenixborn to use, the competitive card play you know and love, plus a new type of foe for players to take down in solo/co-op battles.
