Welcome back, Ashes players! Preview season continues for the fifth expansion in the Red Rains cycle: The Spawn of Shadowreck! This expansion introduces a brand new Chimera opponent to face off against. Descend into the lair of a spider-mother Chimera and try to confound her before you become a web-bound meal for the brood!
Getting a read on this Chimera’s patterns can be difficult, as its effects can change due to dice roll results that you cannot predict! Be sure to land a decisive blow on these aspects as well, lest they Retreat into the shadows to prepare to strike again.
The maddening halls of the webbed lair will cause even the most resolute of Phoenixborn to falter in their magic wielding prowess. Act quickly to dismantle these psychic horrors before they get the best of you.
When it comes time for the Chimera to feast, it is a gruesome sight to witness. This boss aspect will be sure to bring an end to your encounter if not defeated with haste.
