The Blight of Neverset is the third Chimera to manifest after Rowan Umberend’s calling of the Red Rains. This Chimera is born from the lust and ruthlessness laten in the soils of Neverset’s vast network of gardens and orchards. The Bloom aspect of this Chimera takes full advantage of the city’s uncanny amounts of natural daylight, blossoming into an unending branching network of corrupted plant life.
The Blight of Neverset grows at an alarming rate, with various aspects increasing the pacing of rage dice and Red Rains token generation. The Scarlet Seed is a conjured aspect central to this Chimera’s strategy, planting dormant seeds that can grow into more and more threats. This Chimera’s ultimates are known to deploy more aspects than you may have bargained for, so dispatch these Seeds with haste!
Representing the gradual growth of this massive plant monster, you’ll encounter many aspects with status abilities. Be extra careful letting the Chimera grow when a Ballistic Seeds is ready, which can convert otherwise tame status abilities into a barrage of damage!
The Blight of Neverset can play a game of deception as well as any charm magic wielder. Watch as your allies crumble to the leisurely lifestyle when a Soothing Scent washes over the beautiful landscape.
