Hello Summoners!
We’re proud to announce that version one of Summoner Wars Online has officially been released as of last night, Aug 23, 2021!
The beta version has been up and running since May 2021 for subscribers, and that feedback has been essential for releasing a digital app that we at Plaid Hat Games are very proud of. Thanks to players, we were able to weed out the bugs and make our Digital Online Unfriendly Gamer (D.O.U.G.) a more formidable foe for solo play.

- Deckbuilder! Customize your decks.
- Stronger AI
- Purchase decks and/or get the online subscription. (Full subscribers receive each digital item permanently as they receive physical items.)
- Review your entire game! Each game’s full archive is stored in the app.
- Spectator mode: Send your game’s link to others to watch and/or review.
Coming soon: Summoner Wars on Steam for Windows and Mac
Summoner Wars Online isn’t complete yet! Soon we’ll be releasing even more new features launching alongside the Steam version of Summoner Wars Online for Mac OS and Windows.
- Cross-platform compatible: Play against friends on any version of the app.
- Bring your web purchases: web purchases will seamlessly transfer to the Steam version and vice versa.
- Saga Mode: Small, 1-player story campaigns for each summoner, each with unique, unlockable rewards.
- Challenge Mode: Compelling puzzles and challenges to work through for each summoner.

Monthly Free Factions!
Every month we promise to bring free access to two factions for non-subscribers. For the rest of August and throughout September the fiery Phoenix Elves and mighty Tundra Orcs will be free to play for everybody. Now’s the time to find out if you’re Team Maldaria or Team Grognack -- without the need for a Buzzfeed quiz!
The physical Tundra Orcs and Phoenix Elves decks will be available in the Second Edition Starter Set coming this October! More info here!

*Digital Ownership means you’ll have access to all purchased faction packs for the life of the digital product.
If you pre-ordered the year of Summoner Wars Online during our pre-order period, that year starts August 23rd! Subscriptions will auto-renew for $2.95/month starting August 2022, or you can opt-out of the subscription plan and buy the factions you enjoy playing the most, outright for $3.95/ digital faction deck.
