Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn is an expandable, non-collectable, dueling card game where players take on the roles of Phoenixborn, summoning powerful units and casting spells to defeat enemy Phoenixborn. Ashes uses custom dice to represent the different ways to cast magic, and is a uniquely tight resource system. Now, Plaid Hat Games is partnering with Team Covenant, to bring Ashes back under the name Ashes Reborn! Ashes Reborn is an upgrade to all existing Ashes products, allowing the game we love to continue forth with some revised rules, cards, and new content, including the lost dice type: time magic!

GETTING STARTED
Are you brand new to Ashes or a returning player with a partial Ashes card collection? It’s a great time to jump in on the action! Right now, you can get most original Ashes products for 50% off on our website! They’ll all be usable in Ashes Reborn by integrating them with the upcoming Upgrade Kit.
The Ashes: Rise of the Phoenixborn core set is the best way to start. You’ll get the rules, counters, and dice you need, plus six decks that will provide hours of fun. When you’re ready for more, expansion decks will grow your card pool with exciting new options.

Featuring more than 350+ updated Ashes cards, along with an upgrade and updated rulebook, the Upgrade Kit is the essential product for playing Ashes Reborn. Use it to update your existing Ashes collection, or to receive a big jumpstart to your collection!
TEAM COVENANT’S ASHES SUBSCRIPTION
The best way to get new Ashes Reborn content going forward, is to sign-up for Team Covenant’s Ashes Reborn subscription. You’ll get the newest products mailed to you quarterly, starting with the Ashes Reborn Upgrade Kit. The subscription gets you new content as soon as it comes out.
Customers outside the U.S. can subscribe, but shipping is more expensive. Non-U.S. regions will have their own distribution models. The subscription begins with the release of the Ashes Reborn Upgrade Kit,followed by the products below.
The Breaker of Fate Deluxe Expansion
Jericho Kill returns from the War of Ashes, now channeling the power of time magic! This deluxe expansion comes with a brand new preconstructed deck for Jericho, as well as 10 time magic dice.
Future Expansions
After the Breaker of Fate introduces time magic to Ashes Reborn, subsequent subscription releases will be two preconstructed decks, each featuring more Phoenixborn and dual-class magic decks paired with time magic.
Updated Versions of Older Content!
The Plaid Hat Games web store will offer updated Reborn versions of the Master Set and all previous expansions, fully equipped with any related cards from the Upgrade Kit. Players who already own the old content and the Upgrade Kit won’t need this, but it will be a great way for new players to catch up.
